Italian Gianni Taroni, generally recognised as the specialist of brakes, created TAR-OX brand name in 1976. The name TAR-OX was made up of 'TAR' from Signor Taroni's surname and 'OX' being a short for oxide. Originally involved in Formula 1, TAR-OX first began producing brakes for road cars in 1981. Constant development ensures that the TAR-OX product is constantly at the cutting edge of design and technology, with new products and applications being added to the range every month.
